Apogee uses the free plugin and GPL licensed Sidebar Generator.

From the administration panel you can choose to create or cancel your sidebars.

Apogeo has four default sidebars, displayed in the widget page (Menu “Appearance” -> “Widgets”):

• Home Page Sidebar
• Category Sidebar
• Archive Sidebar
• General Sidebar, sidebar for all others pages, such 404 page or search results page

Anyway the sidebars that will create will be visible below the default sidebars, on the widgets page.
